The Luphos Company

Founded in 2006 Luphos GmbH specialised on the developement of ultra high precision distance and topology measurement systems for production processes and quality control in industry and in science. The very unique method of the all fibre based Multi-Wave-Length-Interferometry (MWLI^®) is patented by Luphos. Based on this technique in a large number of applications contactless and nanometer precise geometrical measurements can be implemented. Due to its flexibility using one or more probes simultaneously already various applications could be realised.

All of the four founders of Luphos learned their skills in optics and optical measurements as members of the Institute of Applied Physics at the University of Technology in Darmstadt, Germany. Their knowledge, as well as the knowledge of the professional co-workers further the development and the design of the MWLI^® technology and its adapted measurement solutions. The Luphos team combines a high expertise in physics and optics, in electronic, hardware and software engineering. This together with the competence in sales and mareting qulifies Luphos for a fast and professional response to customer demands.
